Beto and I joined Captain Veto for another dolphin charter. Celeste, Sheila and Natasha were on the boat again, and we also had the pleasure of seeing our beloved dolphin-sister Joan Ocean who was on board with a few of her friends.

We were blessed with another day of sunshine and a slight breeze as we motored out to locate the Northern pod of spinner dolphins. The pod held to its recent trend of swimming in the shallow waters farther up the coast, approximately an hour’s drive from the harbor.

Swim baby, swim!

We had a similar in-water experience with the pod… only the dolphins were swimming even faster than on the previous day. Our group would jump in to observe the traveling pod, and dolphins would slow their pace to meet & greet us for brief but beautiful encounters.

Flow with MomentumJoan

Again, the energy was about moving, flowing, and letting life’s natural momentum carry us forward. Meaningful eye-to-eye connections with the dolphins occurred while we were moving together with intention on a definitive path.

This experience was an excellent reminder to stay present & open to the meaningful connections we make each day as we move with intention along our chosen life path. Sometimes we become so focused on the end result of our forward momentum that we can forget to savor the gifts inherent within the course of our journey.

Light in the Water

I loved being on the boat and in the water with Beto and my favorite dolphin-sisters. The ocean was lit by the radiance of the dolphins as well as the joyful, bright collective presence of Celeste, Joan, and the newer members of our extended dolphin-family.
