In a moment of epiphany during an energy clearing session, one of my favorite clients announced that she had devised a simple and effective formula for success. Together, we refined the details of her strategy, and she has graciously given me permission to share her game plan.
The formula includes six steps in the following order: Listen, Show Up, Believe, Remain Clear, Receive, and Repeat. This straightforward plan can be enhanced by the inclusion of an additional action which can easily be woven into all six steps: Reinforce.
the simple formula
Listen… to your inner voice and your intuition. Be receptive to information from your higher self and your spiritual guidance system. Listen for and observe signs, signals, and inner promptings that indicate the most beneficial paths available to actualize your goals.
The act of listening requires stillness and quietude so that we can hear our inner voice and receive Divine messaging.
Show Up. Be present, literally and figuratively. Make the effort to show up by putting yourself in situations and locations that support your desired goals. Take action to meet new people, make connections, and experience the inspiration afforded by fresh energy and new ideas.
Opportunities arise when we simply show up and are available to take action.
Believe… in yourself and in the magic of the Universe. Trust that you are divinely guided and that you can achieve your aspirations. Believe that you deserve what is presented or gifted to you as a result of your intentions and efforts.
Belief is the cornerstone of all successful creations.
Remain Clear… energetically, mentally and emotionally. Steer clear of other people’s thoughts and emotions which manifest as vibrational energy– unless those intentions support, uplift and inspire you. Maintain a strong connection to your Higher Self to protect the integrity of your thoughts, your energy field, and your creations.
Clarity provides the undercurrent that strengthens our conviction.
Receive. Be open to receive any and all of the positivity that comes into your life. Accept and appreciate supportive feedback that flows into your consciousness along the way. Graciously acknowledge the helpful guidance, wisdom, information and encouragement that is presented to you in whatever form it takes.
Say ‘yes’ to all that is offered, and give yourself credit for the progress you are making.
Repeat. Build forward momentum by repeating the process, in big and small ways. Grow and expand upon an existing project or initiate new goals by perpetuating this formula for success.
Repetition establishes flow and makes success a habit.

Reinforce. Express gratitude and celebrate your successes during each step of the journey. Vocalize your appreciation for all that you are creating and for the support you are receiving.
Gratitude is a state of being that instantly opens our hearts and makes us feel good. Expressions of appreciation keep our channels open and forge a reciprocal relationship with the Universal Law of Attraction.
We generate positive momentum by celebrating the small wins that pave the way for larger accomplishments.

Each phase in the process of achieving a goal requires specific ingredients to foster success. It is valuable to recognize where we are at in the process and monitor our vibrancy level throughout the creative endeavor.
We typically experience a surge of inspiration and creative energy when we begin to pursue a goal. We can jumpstart the process by harnessing this flood of enterprising energies and directing these resources with laser-like focus. During this phase, we must remember to pace ourselves for the road ahead.
Midway on the path to our desired goal, we may begin to feel mentally clouded and emotionally or creatively plateaued. At this stage, a proactive ‘reset’ can be useful to clarify our vision and boost our internal resources.
Towards the finish line, it is common for feelings of depletion or exhaustion to surface. An infusion of positive energy and encouragement will help us to complete the final steps required to accomplish our goal.
Bolster the formula
There are ways to elevate frequency and replenish life force energy at each stage of the process. We can do this on our own by implementing daily practices that nurture overall health, energize us, and support our well being. These may include regular exercise, meditation, positive social engagement, a dose of everyday awe, ritual, or prayer.
